Description
Mokhliss is a robust digital marketplace designed to bridge the gap between households and qualified skilled tradespeople (such as plumbers, electricians, and carpenters). Developed using the Flutter and Laravel stack, the platform functions as a matching engine where users can post specific job requests and receive quotes from verified local professionals. The app features a comprehensive profile system for pros, showcasing their previous work, certifications, and customer ratings. The Laravel backend manages the complex matching logic, real-time messaging between parties, and a secure escrow or payment tracking system, while the Flutter app provides a simple, accessible interface for both busy homeowners and on-the-go service providers.

We started by building the Laravel backend to handle Specialized Profile Management for service providers, including category tagging for different trades and a robust verification system for documents and IDs. Simultaneously, we developed the Flutter application, focusing on a Simplified Job Posting Flow for users and a real-time Lead Notification system for the pros to ensure they never miss an opportunity. A critical phase involved implementing the Matching and Bidding Logic in Laravel, allowing pros to send custom quotes and users to compare them based on price and reputation. We then integrated a Geo-Location Search and Real-Time Chat module to facilitate easy coordination and navigation for on-site visits. The project concluded with rigorous stress testing of the notification engine and the review system, followed by a deployment at the start of our work week to begin the localized onboarding of top-tier service professionals.
